I am an International Political Sociologist working at the cross-roads of International Relations, Sociology and Political Science. Prior to being an Assistant Professor at the Department of Methodology, London School of Economics (LSE), I was a Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London, a Fellow at the London School of Economics, and a Fellow at Sciences Po Bordeaux where I received my PhD in Political Science in 2016.
I held visiting positions at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (India), and at the Instituto de Relações Internacionais, University of São Paulo (Brazil). I am also an Associate Researcher at the Grantham Institute, LSE and at the Latin America and Caribbean Center, LSE. I am co-convener of the International Political Sociology research group Doing IPS and co-editor of the Palgrave book series Trends in European IR Theory, Palgrave.
I was awarded a LSE Excellence in Education award in 2019 and 2020, a LSE Class Teacher Award in 2017, and nominated for the LSE Student Union Teaching Awards 2020 in the categories "Inspirational Teaching" and "Innovative Teaching"!
I am a second-generation Spanish immigrant from Perpignan.
