I am an Associate Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Methodology.
Prior to this, I was a Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London, a Fellow at the London School of Economics, and a Fellow at Sciences Po Bordeaux where I received my PhD in Political Science in 2016.
I am an honorary associate professor at University College London (UK), School of European Languages, Culture and Society, and visiting professor at the University of Louvain (Belgium), Institut d'analyse du changement dans l'histoire et les sociétés contemporaines. I am also an Associate Researcher at the Data Science Institute, LSE, and at the Grantham Research Institute, LSE and at the Latin America and Caribbean Center, LSE. I held visiting positions at the Centre for Global Cooperation Research, University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany), at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (India), and at the Instituto de Relações Internacionais, University of São Paulo (Brazil).
My teaching and supervision have been recognised through a 2026 Highly Commended distinction for the LSESU Inspirational PhD Supervisor Award, LSE Excellence in Education Awards in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023, and an LSE Class Teacher Award in 2017. I have also been nominated for the LSE Student Union Teaching Awards in the categories of Inspirational Teaching and Innovative Teaching.
I am a second-generation Spanish immigrant from Perpignan.
