LSE students
I am currently on maternity leave until November 2024.
For general inquiries about methodology and Master's and PhD dissertation projects, please attend the Methods Surgery walk-in sessions, every Thursday during term time.
Due to a high number of demands, I am unable to provide individual guidance about text and discourse analysis as well as feedback on dissertations I do not supervise (e.g. What is the difference between the methods? What method is best adapted for my research project? How do I select my corpus? Am I implementing the method properly? What is the most adapted literature for my project? etc. ). If you want to learn how to answer these questions, please enrol to MY428/MY528 Qualitative Text and Discourse Analysis (LT), a module specifically designed to help you address these concerns. One-days introductory workshops in thematic analysis and discourse analysis are also available as part of our Advanced Qualitative PhD Research Workshops. For the LSE students unable to enrol in either of these modules, please check the Moodle space for MY428/528, which I tried to make as user-friendly as possible with plenty of online resources.
